Electronic shelf labels (ESLs) help retailer seamlessly update their product prices in real-time, no need for manually updating paper shelf tags, this smart technology dynamic update pricing and product information on digital screens of xx sizes, with battery life of 5-6 years, mostly us e-paper displays supporting black, white and or red or yellow colors.

The tags are updated using Wi-Fi, Zigbee, NFC, RFID and Bluetooth, depends on the range, speed, security, and energy consumption each have advantage and disadvantage of their own.

Type of Electronic shelf labels

NFC
NFC reader on a mobile device is used to update the label display image from to be inserted to the electronic label. NFC is user friendly.
Bluetooth or BLE
BLE ESLs use Bluetooth 5.0 to transmit images to the label by editing and saving images on the ESL server cloud, effectively storing images for quick reference. From the cloud, the images are transmitted to the mobile device, from which we update the display on the label.

How 2.4GHz ESL Solution Works
2.4GHz Electronic Shelf Label solution is managed by ESL management system, wireless base station, ESL, and other devices.
By utilizing our 2.4GHz ESL solution, data is transferred almost instantly. This makes it feasible for managers or owners to apply periodical discounts when the price of an item is lowered for specific times.

How Wifi ESL Solution Works
Wifi tag management system docks to your information management system and transmits WIFI signals to the electronic tags to update the display of information.

When an ESL label is tapped onto a point of sales station, information on the ESL is displayed on the POS device and will update the inventory data within the server.
